Begin van Schudkaart - Shakercard Magnolia Tilda with cute lamb

Of misschien iets anders….

Gebruikte materialen:
Bazzill wit voor de basis
Basic Grey design papier Nordic Holiday
Stempel Snoesje Marianne Design
Poinsettia snijmal Marianne Design
Stempel 100% Kerst Marianne Design

groetjes,

Magnolia Tilda with a lovely jam

Red, red, red, almost totally red for a challenge at Totally Tilda: use a Tilda stamp with fruit.
For the first time I colored a Magnolia stamp with my red copics. Not an easy job and maybe my red markers are not the correct ones for blending. I've got Dark Red, Cadmium red and  Coral Red. Basic reds I think and that's why I bought them. Not knowing a single thing about blending etc. at that time. But I can't leave them un-used so I gave it a try and also made a card.
Shopping list at the bottom!

List of used items for this card:
Kraft, white and red Bazzill paper
Basic Grey patterned paper
paper doily
Magnolia stamps: Tilda with a lovely jam, yummy for your tummy and the recepycard with the strawberries
Magnolia Doohickeys: Clover flower and leaves, Vintage Daisy
Colored with Copic markers and also used my sewing machine.

Thanks for visiting and hope you like the card!

groetjes

Santas Little Helper Copics

Today I did another Christmas card with  Edwin on Christmas Eve and this time colored with my copics. It looks quit different from the vintage card I did this weekend (with the distress markers).
Can't say which one I like best, but I spend more time coloring and practicing with my copies. The distress markers I still have to get used to.

This one is for the Challenge 42 at Dutch Magnolia Lovers
It has a chipboard flower and metal charm so I think I can participate.

 Shopping list for this card:

Bazzill whit cardstock for the base

Santas little helper

Santa's Little helper is a card I made with Pion papers and at first I had the idea I was never going to use brown paper for a Christmas card. But then I decided to do it in vintage style and now I kind of love it. For the stamp I used little Edwin as Santa's helper

Magnolia EDWIN ON CHRISTMAS EVE Rubber Stamp Sweet Dreams 2011

and kept the colors also a bit vintage and coordinated with the brown paper. For the first time I used UTEE, ultra thick enamel powder (as seen in the tutorial on this blog). Fun to do and I like the result.

The flowers I did with a new die from Die Namics. You can make flowers (roses) and also pine- or fir cone with this die.
After all I don't regret to have played with the dark brown paper and here you can see the result:

Groetjes,
Riet

Autumn kisses for you

Autumn kisses for you!

The challenge this week is Choose your passion! CAS (clean and simple) or Fussy and Fancy…
