Christmas in July - 2012 walter the moose

Walter the moose is echt zo'n leuke stempel. Ik heb hem dan ook gebruikt op m'n 2e kerstkaart. Ook heb ik nu een toefje bloemen gemaakt en ben weer aan het embossen geweest om te proberen een sneeuweffect te maken.

Challenge # 55 - Christmas in July (colour and theme challenge)

Walter the Moose is such an adorable stamp. I had to use it for my next Christmas card/box. Some more flowers this time and again I did emboss a little with the heat tool to get a snowy effect.

Tilda with a lovely jam

Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt met m'n nieuwste stempel van Magnolia: "Tilda with a lovely jam"

Vind 'm heel goed passen bij Tilda met het aardbeienmandje. Ga dus ook nog een kaart maken met de 2 stempels.

Meteen nog meedoen met de challenge van Dutch Magnolia lovers. Kan nog net. Zag de sketch en ben er meteen aan begonnen. Eerst was ik de tag vergeten, maar die kon er gelukkig nog bij, zoals te zien op de tweede foto.

De bloem hierboven heb ik gemaakt met een stans van Crealies en Magnolia Doohikey Clover bloemetjes en een brad van Tim Holz. 


 

Deze bloemen gekocht en alleen van de rode weet ik dat ie van Magnolia is.

My first Magnolia Christmas Card

My first Magnolia Christmas card and I used Nicoles sketch from Christmaschallenges with sketch (scroll down for link). The stamp is an oldie, but I'm glad I could lay my hands on it. It's from the Merry Little Christmas 2010 Collection and I love it!

The design papers are from my Tilda collection stash (panduro). I think they do match with the Magnolia stamps. For the circle in the middle I used an embossing folder. It looks a bit like snowflakes now. The leaves and paper flowers are embossed with powder and heat gun and on top of her bonnet is some pluster-tex (used heat gun again).

It's not only my first Christmas card but also first time I used some of the  different techniques.

It's lots of fun doing all this :)

Kleurenchallenge "Elke Kaart een Feestje" - Let's rock around the Clock tonight

This card I made for my niece who wants a party, because she passed her exams at school and she can use it as invitation. Also entered for a colorchallenge: uitdaging 121: green, purple, turkoois.

Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt als voorbeeld voor uitnodiging voor een nichtje die geslaagd is en een feestje geeft. Ook ga ik meedoen met de kleurenchallenge van

 "Elke Kaart Een Feestje".
